This will be the second cel I frame. I absolutely adore it. The moment
and the character are so wonderfully captured. It is perfection.

She's the resident "know-it-all" friend everybody knew in 5th grade. Here
she is "mid-pontificating" about running in the hallways. The reaction
of her fellow classmate really makes the scene too! |

Have you ever been in love? Have you ever experienced walking on air
because you are so excited about some news that your feet hardly touch
the ground? This cel captures one of my favorite sequences in all of Studio
Ghibli's work -- let alone all of anime. The scene never fails in making
me smile (or even cry a little bit because I'm so sentimental). |
