Hikiwake
(First draw of the bow)

After performing uchiokoshi (raising of the bow), the left hand pushes out toward the target. The right hand is "pulled" along. This is called daisan.
Here's an example:


This cel captures this move fairly well, although she should not be looking at her hands but straight ahead to the target. Forefinger and thumb of left hand correctly points to the direction of the shot and the arrow rests on top of them.

It's very difficult to explain the sensation of daisan. For me, unlike most of the other stages, this one feels the most right and initially natural. Of course if I was doing all the stages correctly or enough times, then they would all feel natural to me.
